Management Issues in Nokia

Nowadays, we can observe the lack of Nokia Smartphone's user. Users tend to stick with smartphones dominated by Samsung and Apple.How can struggling Finnish mobile giant Nokia reverse its decline?Should they fire  their current CEO,Stephen Elop like they did to their former CEO,Olli-Peka Kallasvuo in September 2010?As says former Apple executive and investor,Jean-Louis Gassée.

The reason why this former mobile phone who once dominated the mobile phone sales between 1999 to 2008 was their unwillingness to adapt the latest technology on shelf today,Android. Stephen Elop thought that their dead-ender Symbian technology still wanted by the consumer and denies the collaboration with android. Gassée also condemn the Nokia's board for allowing Elop to overstate the impact of their products before they were released.This also worsen the Nokia's image in the eyes of consumers.

But now, their new savior rises. Nokia is now adapting windows OS into their smartphones.
For example, Nokia Lumia 800 and the new released Nokia Lumia 900 which operates on Windows 7.5 Mango.Nokia Lumia 900 is rich in customization such  and Xbox compatibility.

Their hope is to bring their sales up again with this Windows phone technology as they used to have in later years and save their company from downfall.
